DESIGNING FOR THE EXPERIMENTAL

Studio Zafari is a production company offering design, scriptwriting, filming, animation and editing for educational and experimental video content. I was commissioned to refresh their existing logo and visual identity, keeping the brand professional while giving it a look that spoke to their vibrant, experimental approach to projects.

I chose strong, distinctive colours to help the brand stand out from others on online platforms, paired with a friendly, all-lowercase font to keep the tone approachable. I also developed an icon from the logo built specifically to be animated and extended across graphic elements, so the identity could move and adapt as easily as the studio’s own work.
